NOTES

Oneida Lake - Oswego, NY Fishing Report on 26th Jan, 2025

Oneida Lake - Oswego, NY

Conditions for yesterday's scheduled "walleye slaughter" on Oneida Lake for Claudio and family were less than ideal! Confronted with relentless 15-20 mph winds and blowing snow squalls we deployed our shanty in 20 foot of water and went to work. Screens looked decent on and off throughout the morning but the fish just seemed to want to "sniff" every lure we deployed. Without being able to deploy more of our program and move around we spent the morning hunkered down and was able to put a few nice walleye and a short and one perch topside! We also missed 5 fish on tipups that could've helped sweeten the day but overall they had a great day and are looking forward to a trip on Lake Ontario this summer! It was a pleasure to fish with you guys!!

Gear & Tackle Used:

Jigging for Walleye and Perch on Oneida Lake utilizing all the latest technology! Eskimo shelters, Mr Buddy Propane Heaters, Garmin FIshFinders and Heritage Laker tipups are just some of the gear we use to put fish on the ice!
